About Neeraj Chopra

Neeraj Chopra is from Khandra village in  Panipat district, Haryana.He completed his education at DAV College, Chandigarh. He began training for javelin throw in 2011 during his teenage at the Shivaji Stadium.In 2016, he was appointed a Junior Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army with the rank of Naib Subedar (Rajputana Rifles). His height is 6 ft.

Awkward habbit made him Golden boy

During his childhood, he had the hobby of throwing stones to bee hives and his father Satish Kumar who wanted to make him a disciplined boy, persuaded him to take up javelin.
